Attack Signature
A NetProwler signature identifies interesting or suspicious network
activity involving a monitored system or device.

Download the file by selecting (clicking) the update name in the table.
If your browser opens the file instead of downloading it, try Shift-left-mouse-click.

Update the Attack Signature list by choosing Sync New Signatures from
the Administration menu. (The Select Attack Signature File dialog box will appear.)
Navigate to the location of the downloaded attack signatures, select the file, and
choose Open. NetProwler will update the list of attack signatures and add them to
the list of Custom Attacks. Repeat this process for each downloaded file. Afterwards,
you must associate them with the desired hosts. For instructions on how to associate
an attack signature, see Associating Attack Signatures Manually on page 6.13 of the
NetProwler User's Guide.
