Note: If you plan to upgrade to Symantec ESM 5.5 in the near future, we recommend that you install Symantec ESM 5.5 before applying Security Update 14 (SU14). Symantec ESM 5.5 contains SU8. If SU14 is installed to an older version of Symantec ESM, it will need to be reapplied after Symantec ESM 5.5 is installed.

Description
Install Security Update 14 to upgrade the AIX security modules on Symantec ESM 5.1 and 5.5 agents. For detailed descriptions of new features and enhancements, download the Symantec ESM Security Update 14 Release Notes file.

Note: SU14 is for IBM AIX operating systems only. Use SU13 for Solaris 2.6-9+ and Windows NT/2000/XP operating systems. Use SU12 for other UNIX and Linux operating systems. Use SU5 for NetWare. The changes and enhancements discussed in this document will be supported on other UNIX platforms in a future Security Update release. This version of SU14 is not compatible with ESM 5.5.1 Japanese.
