Symantec Network Security 7100 Series Engine Update 2

Run the LiveUpdate feature of Symantec Network Security to install the latest Engine Updates and Security Updates.

Note: This Engine Update applies to all models of the Symantec Network Security 7100 Series appliances.

Description

Engine Update 2 contains enhancements for signature engine performance. The impact of this Engine Update is an automatic recompilation of signatures in the applied policies.

Warning: Installing Engine Update 2 restarts the 7100 Series appliance sensors. For any 7100 Series appliance running in inline, this process causes a brief network interruption.
