Download Security Update 21 for Solaris SPARC (Extended Support - 2.7+ only)
NOTE: Do not install on earlier versions of HP-UX, AIX or Solaris.

Description
Install Security Update 21 to upgrade Windows, UNIX, and Linux security modules on Symantec ESM 6.x and 5.5 agents. For detailed descriptions of new features and enhancements, see Security Update 21 Release Notes.
Note: In Japanese, SU 21 is compatible with Symantec ESM 5.5.3 Japanese on Windows and Solaris operating systems only.
Windows, UNIX, and Linux platforms
- All modules: Regular expression support in name lists
- File Watch: Ignore directory option
Windows only platforms
- File Attributes: File version checking
- GPO: New module for checking GPO settings
- Network Integrity: Include/Exclude list for shared folders check
- Password Strength: Reversible encryption enabled in the domain security policy
- Startup Files: Disallowed services
- Symantec Product Info: Antivirus autoprotect
- Symantec Product Info: Antivirus check for either product
UNIX and Linux only platforms
- File Attributes: Immutable flag
- File Find: Unprintable characters in filenames
- Login Parameters: Unsuccessful login attempts not logged enhanced (Solaris only)
- Network Integrity: Promiscuous mode detection
- Password Strength: Minimum password length (HP-UX 11.00 and higher)
- Password Strength: Password cracking with PAM and crypt.conf/policy.conf (Solaris 9 only)
- System Mail: Check FX path directives in sendmail.cf
- System Mail: Sendmail restricted shell
