Backdoor.Beasty.H is a Backdoor Trojan Horse that gives its creator unauthorized access to your computer.

Possible signs of infection include the existence of a file that has the .blf extension in the system folder, or an Internet Explorer process (IExplore.exe) that runs even when you are not browsing the Web.

Backdoor.Beasty.H, like all Beasty variants, is generated with a kit that allows its creator to configure details, such as port numbers and filenames, so the behavior of the Trojan may be slightly different than the information in this writeup.
