W32.Randex.BD is a network-aware worm that attempts to connect to a predetermined IRC server to receive instructions from its author. The existence of the files CfgDll32.exe or cmst32.exe is an indication of a possible infection.

The worm is written in Microsoft Visual C++ and is packed with UPX.
