W97M.Tooth is a macro virus that attempts to infect Microsoft Word documents and the Normal.dot template.

If the system date is the 12th of the month, it will display a graphic titled "Toothpaste!"

NOTES:
  • Due to a bug in the code, the virus may not work properly.
  • Virus definitions dated prior to July 24, 2003 detect this as Bloodhound.WordMacro
