W32.IRCBot.Gen is a generic detection for variants of W32.IRCBot. It also has back door capabilities that allow a remote attacker to use Internet Relay Chat (IRC) to remotely control your computer, including spreading through network shares, spam email messages, IRC channels and to other computers.
